We now have part 3 of 4 in our series of how to turn a psd to css/html. In part 1 and part 2 of this article we created some of the major elements that we will need in order to hold our content. This article will deal with the more difficult left column and all the content within it, as well as sorting out the files.

This is the second in our 4 part series on how to take a PSD file and convert it into a fully CSS based html site. In this part of the tutorial we are going to flesh out the layout a little more and by the end it will resemble a 3 column site.

One of the hardest parts of converting a PSD design into a well structured and semantic CSS/HTML layout is first knowing where to start. Although that may sound simplistic and obvious, it really does matter how you begin and that you build on strong foundations to start with.
