In this tutorial I want to show you one example of writing your own class. I’m going to show you how and why you might write your own class to control a library symbol.

In this tutorial you will learn the VERY basics, so if you have never used flash before you are in the right place! I will show you basic navigation around the interface, how to add / remove frames and create a basic tweens.

Previously, we learnt how to create a basic shape tween on the stage and some basic navigation around the flash interface. But what other methods of creating movement on the stage are there? In this lesson we will learn how to create create a Movie Clip and add a motion tween.

Using scenes in flash can have vast benefits for your work, enabling the viewer to easily jump around the file (similar to frame labels) but with much more stability. So how do we create scenes? And how do we put them to use? I will show you!
