Changing eyes color

Changing eyes color is easy with Photoshop. You can do that for fun or before buying new contact lenses to see what exactly they will look before you buy. To change the color of this baby's eyes do the following steps.
  1. Open the image in Photoshop and zoom in on the eyes by pressing (Ctrl + "+").

  2. Choose Elliptical Marquee tool
    Elliptical Marquee.
    If you can't see the Tools window, show it by clicking on the menu items: Window -> Tools. The Elliptical Marquee tool is located at the upper left corner of the Tools window or simply press "M" on your keyboard. Notice that you may need to press it many times tell you get the right tool. (1)
  3. Use the Elliptical Marquee tool to select the iris/pupil of the left eye. Click and drag the mouse starting from the left to the right, you can press space bar of your keyboard while keeping the mouse pressed to move your selection. Do that many times tell you get the best results.
  4. Choose "Add to selection" located on the top of the program so you don't lose your selection when selecting the right eye. (2)
  5. Repeat the same steps with the right eye to complete the selection. (3)

  6. Zoom out your image (Ctrl + "-") for a better view.
  7. From the Layers window choose "Create new fill or adjustment layer" located at the bottom and choose "Hue/Saturation..." (4) From the popup window, a new window will open with three sliders.

  8. Here comes the fun part. Check Colorize and Preview, change the Hue slider to change the color, change the Saturation slider to change the color contrast and change the Lightness slider to choose how much light you'll get. Play with those values and when you are satisfied with the result click Ok.

  9. The beauty of this method is that you can double click on the Hue/Saturation layer to change the color any time.
