What version of Photoshop was this created in? I have looked for a magnifying glass shape in my version and its not there. Is there a site where additional Photoshop shapes can be downloaded?
The Photoshop version used is Photoshop CS2, if you have a recent version of Photoshop and you still can not see the magnifying glass shape, then make sure to follow step 8 in this tutorial to see it because it is not visible by default.
I love the tutorial. i saw this in the imageready deafalts and wondered how it was made.I thank u for making it. It a wonderful tutorial. keep making these types of nice tutorials
I am having trouble in this tutorial by finding the magnifine glass. i am using adobe CS. What should i do?should i install some plug ins???????????
No Ariba, you don't have to install any plugins. Photoshop doesn't show all the shapes by default that's why you don't see the magnifying galss. To show all the shapes, press (U), click the shape at the top tool bar, click the small arrow at the right of the small window then choose All from the drop down menu (Follow the picture under step 8 for illustration). If you do those steps and still cannot find the magnifying glass shape, this means it's not available in your version of Photoshop.
Fab tutorial, easy to follow and reproduce the affect. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
